Hello and Welcome to Country Garden UK.

I am Gillian and I am the blog author and photographer. I live in Lancashire with my husband and children and our pet dog Samson. Our garden in North West England is a happy relaxed place where there is always something new to see.

I believe that everyone deserves a beautiful garden and from personal experience I know that it's much easier to achieve than you may think. I am very happy to share information and ideas with you. If it helps you to create the garden of your dreams then I would be delighted.

For as long as I can remember I have been a gardener. My parents are keen gardeners and their enthusiasm rubbed off on me. When we married and bought our first home our tiny new garden was all I needed to get started. The seeds were sown and I was off..

We are on our third home and country garden now. I love everything about gardening.

I love raising plants from seeds and cuttings.

I love visiting gardens, shows and plant fairs to see what's new.

I love the way the garden evolves and changes through the seasons.

I love to see the wild creatures that visit our garden.

Perhaps most important of all...

 I love the way gardening makes me feel Happy and Healthy.
