Gillian- I got a start of Nigella from my father-in-law 22 years ago when we moved up here, and they have faithfully reseeded every year since. I bought some seeds for some additional colors so need to figure out when to sow them for next spring. There is even the healthy spice relative, Nigella sativa, but I think I tried them and didn't succeed, I should try them again.
